Easy to Use, Easy to Modify, Fun and Amazing Results.
Garland Set Details: This set of 4 Layered Brushes is designed to generate a variety Christmas garland from any path (Open shapes become garland, closed shapes become wreaths!). Styles include: plain garland, Lighted Garland, Pinecones & berries Garland and fully loaded garland (with all these together and bows. A cool detail is that the bows vary in rotation a little, but stay right side up no matter how the path turns or loops).
Christmas Lights Set Details: This set has 6 different varieties of light (Red, Red & Green, Green, Yellow & Green, Blue with white cord, White with white cord.)
Ready made assets have already been set up in all color variations as live, expanded and raster: straight lengths of each, looped sections, ovals, Rectangle, as well as the cord and each type of light isolated.
Candy Cane Set Details: This set of Adobe Illustrator candy cane pattern brushes comes with 10 color/stripe variations.
Also Included in the set are Seven shape assets for each color variation: candy cane, oval, rectangle (rounded), Rectangle (square), heart, and round Candy as well as straight lengths of each. These are provided in Live and expanded vector as well as high res raster.
About Layered Brushes: The Garland set & Christmas Light set features “Layered Brushes”; This method packages multiple layers of brushes into a graphic style. In this case one problem with using regular pattern brushes is that the repeat would be obvious. Using layers of pattern brushes You can have control over the size, orientation and frequency of each of your elements. For example, if you don’t like the way the pinecones fall, you can re-randomize that layer. You can even add or remove elements in the appearance window. You don’t have to worry about how it works, you can just create a path and apply the layered brush to get a length of garland with a natural randomized look (No repeats). That’s why I think of layered brushes as ‘brushes on steroids’.
About Compatibility: The garland and Candy Cane brushes are compatible down to Version CS, but due to the embedding of a pattern brush in a graphic style, the Christmas lights brushes only work as ‘One Click’ brushes down to version CS5. A version of them is supplied that will give users of CS4 down to CS the component brushes to get the same effect.
